My first son was born with a brain condition and his development was problematic. Through the intensive involvement in the treatment of my son I became acquainted with the model of E.E.G scan, and it has been an influence on my work until today. My abstract drawings, always biomorphic or imitating organic chemical processes, began with broken horizontal lines, repeating themselves as in the E.E.G. scan. As the series developed the forms took on the shape of enlarged fragments of organic tissues.
